Embroidered Tablecloths

These embroidered tablecloths were brand new and only £1.99 each.  

This is the cupboard I have some of my embroidered linens stored.  It is in need of a good tidy.

Granny Square Blanket

Thought I would show you the granny square blanket I have been making for my daughter.  She lives in Manchester and I am taking it down to visit her.

 It was crocheted with 5 colours of Stylecraft Aran.

 Vintage workbaskets which will get a revamp when I get my sewing room up and running.

 Lovely pastel flannel sheets.

 These vintage pillowcases will be made into dolls sheets.

Sorry the pic of this one is not so good.  Anyway that is more projects for the future.

More Granny Chic

Have just spent the morning doing my Higher History at college and afterwards had a stroll round the local charity shops and found all these lovely things.  I think I must be lucky to source all my vintage linens and sheets locally as I read about a lot of people who do not find very much at their local charity shops.

 This tablecloth is hand embroidered and appliqued with a lovely crochet trim.

 This bed sheet has lovely bright stylised tulips on it.

 Some more crochet.

 A beautiful cutwork tablecloth and napkins.

 A blue vintage sheet.

 This vintage sheet has never been used and has lovely violet posies on it.

 These are a brand new pair of Vantona pillowcases that were still in the packet.

More Charity Shop Treasures

Just some more charity finds at the moment as my sewing machine is in storage at the moment as I am
waiting on my son moving out ,hopefully soon, so I can turn his room into a new sewing room.  But first some new wool ordered from wool warehouse, pure wool aran reduced to £2.20 at the moment.

Thrifty Treasures

I search my local charity shops on a regular basis for vintage fabric and materials.  Here is my latest finds.

This pack of vintage buttons will keep me going for a while!

I also collect vintage tea sets.

I also collect the table linen to go with them.  I will be back with more treasures at a later date.
